Are you wondering where you can walk your dog in Scarborough? Scalby Beck provides a great all weather dog walking countryside adventure. If the weather is too hot for throwing a ball then taking your dog on a Scalby Beck walk is the perfect answer. Your dog will be able to explore the beck well away from traffic and have the bonus of being able to go for a swim to cool off.

Most of the beck is suitable for exercising your dog but the lower stretch, from Burniston Road bridge is not suitable for dogs in places. The stretch between Mowthorpe Farm and Scalby provides excellent all weather dog walking and is very popular for this purpose.
